The story so far
About.
SHSC — South Held Social Club — started in 2019 in a Charleston, SC garage with a borrowed amp, a drum kit held together with duct tape, and the firm belief that songs should be under two minutes.
Since then we've played basements, backyards, a laundromat (once), and most of the small rooms between Charleston and Columbia. Now we've got a full-length dropping September 2026 — eleven songs about pubs, pigs, and getting banned from both. We're still not sure how that happened.
We play fast, we play loud, and we play like the set could get shut down any second — because sometimes it does. If you want to book us, sell us a van, or tell us we sound like a band we've never heard of, the contact page is right there.

The band.
Nathaniel Irvin
Guitar / Vocals
Yells in key, mostly. Counts in too fast on purpose.
Tommy Martin
Guitar / Vocals
Owns exactly one pedal. It's the loud one.
Todd Brown
Bass / Vocals
Plays with a pick. Will fight you about it.
Ryan Phillips
Drums / Backup vocals
Borrowed kit, permanent grudge. Hits harder than your ex.
